PERIMETER Radar (“the App”) is published by Unfilter LLC.

Summary

The App is a listen-only Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) awareness tool. Scanning and classification happen on your device. We do not require an account and we do not sell your data.

Data we process on device

  • Nearby BLE advertisements detected by your iPhone (used to draw the radar and device list)
  • Optional location (if you allow it) for map/OSINT features on device
  • App settings you choose (radar style, watched devices, radio presets)

    • This information stays on your device unless you personally share a screenshot or export.

    Data we do not collect

  • No account, name, or email signup inside the App
  • No upload of BLE scan logs to our servers by default
  • No advertising identifiers for tracking
  • No sale of personal data

    • Permissions

  • **Bluetooth** — required to detect nearby BLE devices
  • **Location** — optional; used for map features and as required by iOS for BLE in some modes
  • **Local Network / microphone** — only if a specific feature you enable needs them (e.g., certain radio streams use network)

    • Third-party content

    Public radio / scanner stream URLs and open map layers are fetched when you use those features. Those providers have their own policies.
